Description
This is actually the same tree picture as the lovely blue one, however you can see how a different color scheme and patterns can change the effect! I feel like this piece looks more like a tribal piece of cloth, very earthy with its browns and golds. I can see it in a log cabin, perhaps done in metal; so you have this beautiful pattern on the hard surface of the metal, juxtaposed with the look of a very intricately woven homespun-type textile, which is really a photograph of a tree! Different for sure!
I enjoy the process of crossing the boundaries from one discipline to another.
These are digitally altered/enhanced photos that have the look of counted cross stitch. embroidery or woven textiles. The "texture" is intentional and I feel it enhances the image and the illusion.
But, please be sure to look at the higher resolution to see if you like the look before you purchase a larger print size.
