Artist's Description

This locust tree is in my front yard and I love it! In winter the bare branches carry the snow beautifully and are spotlighted in my front bedroom window. Then in spring, the leaves start to appear rather late so it gives all the needed sun to my azaleas and redbud tree below. In the summer it is majestic, beautiful, full and taller than my 3 story house. But the highlight of the year for me is in autumn when my entire window is a solid golden blaze of glorious, tiny, yellow-as-can-be leaves that change color before many other trees do and then hang on far longer than most. And to make the fantasy even better, they drop in showers of gold to create a bright, warm carpet of my entire front yard, but then just blow away, at night, as in Camelot!

About Jodie Marie Anne Richardson Traugott aka jm-ART

I look at that as a strength, not a weakness! I will show a variety of work, but one main focus of my art is my granddaughter, Arianna. She calls herself Nana and has become my muse and my obsession. I can't stop painting and...
