I enjoy the process of crossing the boundaries from one discipline to another.
These are digitally altered/enhanced photos that have the look of paintings, drawings, etchings, conte, pastel, charcoal, watercolor, colored pencil, mosaics or even counted cross stitch and embroidery. The "texture" is intentional and I feel it enhances the image and the illusion.

My full name is Jodie Marie Anne Richardson Traugott. I use my initials jm-ART and/or my tattoo of a star as my signature. Although I never liked art through high school, I "discovered" it in my early 20's and have never stopped creating since. Photography is my latest love, but I've been a painter for over 50 years. I consider myself a Renaissance woman with my hand in many disciplines and a love for all artistic ways and means. Because of that, my work is all over the map...in style, medium and intent.
