A sailing class on Lake Ontario, Charlotte N.Y. I thought the line up of the small boats was so charming with the rowboat leading the way. I wanted to make this more abstract, cubist almost and had fun with the format and coloration.
My full name is Jodie Marie Anne Richardson Traugott. I use my initials jm-ART and/or my tattoo of a star as my signature. Although I never liked art through high school, I "discovered" it in my early 20's and have never stopped creating since. Photography is my latest love, but I've been a painter for over 50 years. I consider myself a Renaissance woman with my hand in many disciplines and a love for all artistic ways and means. Because of that, my work is all over the map...in style, medium and intent.
