Psyche and Cupid Canvas Print

Ode to Gerard Francois Pascal Simon, this is a heavily cropped and edited reproduction, of his work, Psyche and Eros (Cupid). I found the very asymetrical compostion that I chose, compelling. The strange emotion in her face also drew me to this image.

My full name is Jodie Marie Anne Richardson Traugott. I use my initials jm-ART and/or my tattoo of a star as my signature. Although I never liked art through high school, I "discovered" it in my early 20's and have never stopped creating since. Photography is my latest love, but I've been a painter for over 50 years. I consider myself a Renaissance woman with my hand in many disciplines and a love for all artistic ways and means. Because of that, my work is all over the map...in style, medium and intent. I look at that as a strength, not a weakness! I will show a variety of work, but one main focus of my art is my granddaughter, Arianna. She calls herself Nana and has become my muse and my obsession.
