I enjoy the process of crossing the boundaries from one discipline to another.
These are digitally altered/enhanced photos that have the look of paintings, drawings, etchings, conte, pastel, charcoal, watercolor, colored pencil, mosaics, stained glass or even counted cross stitch and embroidery. The "texture" is intentional and I feel it enhances the image and the illusion.

My full name is Jodie Marie Anne Richardson Traugott. I use my initials jm-ART and/or my tattoo of a star as my signature. Although I never liked art through high school, I "discovered" it in my early 20's and have never stopped creating since. Photography is my latest love, but I've been a painter for over 50 years. I consider myself a Renaissance woman with my hand in many disciplines and a love for all artistic ways and means. Because of that, my work is all over the map...in style, medium and intent.
