I painted this after Frank Brangwyn's beautiful Arts and Crafts era painting. Brangwyn studied under William Morris, how could I not love his work? The dynamic and complex composition drew me in instantly. Even though I am incapable of completely duplicating his amazing work, I gave it my best while adding some of me, but staying true to the intent of the original.

My full name is Jodie Marie Anne Richardson Traugott. I use my initials jm-ART and/or my tattoo of a star as my signature. Although I never liked art through high school, I "discovered" it in my early 20's and have never stopped creating since. Photography is my latest love, but I've been a painter for over 50 years.
