My full name is Jodie Marie Anne Richardson Traugott. I use my initials jm-ART and/or my tattoo of a star as my signature.
Although I never liked art through high school, I "discovered" it in my early 20's and have never stopped creating since.
Photography is my latest love, but I've been a painter for over 45 years.
I consider myself a Renaissance woman with my hand in many disciplines and a love for all artistic ways and means.
Because of that, my work is all over the map...in style, medium and intent. I look at that as a strength, not a weakness!
I will show a variety of work, but a main focus of my art is my granddaughter, Arianna.
She calls herself Nana and has become my muse and my obsession.
I can't stop painting and photographing her.
Perhaps my focus is too narrow, but she is my only granddaughter!
By the way, she calls me Bama!
My 2 other websites:

~spent junior year abroad in Venice and Florence, Italy-yes leaving everyone home--it was hard!
~BA in fine art/art history, graduated summa cum laude
~MFA with a painting concentration and textile minor

~continue to grow and learn and change

I take pleasure in my transformations. I look quiet... but few know how many women there are in me.
