Artist's Description

This piece looks so textural, like you went out to find the softest mohair, alpaca, angora and silk yarns, in boucle, eyelash, brushed or pompom styles, and used them all on one loom, to make a piece that took 3 months! At least that is how long it would take me to make it!

The strong color gives this a Southwestern feel, but it could be used anywhere, by anyone who loves color and texture! This one hangs in my contemporary/Victorian home, done in the metal print. I love that it was first a photo, then a painting, then a photo, then many photos, looks like yarn and is a slick metal piece that is a print! Kind of blows your mind!

I look at that as a strength, not a weakness! I will show a variety of work, but one main focus of my art is my granddaughter, Arianna. She calls herself Nana and has become my muse and my obsession. I can't stop painting and...
