I have posted the dahlia in my flora gallery that I used to combine with the Arianna portrait in this painting. It's so much more beautiful in the photo, but I needed to subdue it here or I would distract from the face, which obviously had to be the important subject! This is a dream to me...

My full name is Jodie Marie Anne Richardson Traugott. I use my initials jm-ART and/or my tattoo of a star as my signature. Although I never liked art through high school, I "discovered" it in my early 20's and have never stopped creating since. Photography is my latest love, but I've been a painter for over 50 years. I presume many people have compared your work to Chagall's, but I have to mention that and tell you how wonderful it is! Your color palette is so appealing to me. I do feel sometimes that I need to visit Taos again for inspiration, loved my short stay there 5 years ago!
