Set in front of my lace covered window, wrapped in tulle and a sheet, this was our Madonna. I have always believed that there should be more images of young (as Mary was), ethnically diverse woman shown as the Virgin. Mary was not a blond!!

My full name is Jodie Marie Anne Richardson Traugott. I use my initials jm-ART and/or my tattoo of a star as my signature. Although I never liked art through high school, I "discovered" it in my early 20's and have never stopped creating since. Photography is my latest love, but I've been a painter for over 50 years.
