These are a few of my Nana paintings; some available as prints only but a few originals are for sale. I have been painting Arianna, my granddaughter, (who called herself Nana) since she was 2; before that I had never painted a portrait, even though I had been painting for years. I was frightened of portraits. It took me two years of looking at that beautiful face to give in to my need to try and capture the spirit I saw emanating from her. Now, I can't stop!
